An engineering company first, a camera company second.
S.A.M.S. Technologies was built on one belief: India needs camera and security products designed here, not just assembled here. We're a product-engineering team — not an integrator, reseller or software-services shop.
Why SAMS exists
Most cameras deployed in India are designed elsewhere, on components nobody here can inspect. SAMS closes that gap — serious, India-based engineering from image sensor to cloud.
What we're building toward
The next generation of Indian and global security products — built with the rigour our founders brought to consumer electronics at scale: proven image quality, dependable hardware, security that holds up.
A senior, hands-on team
Our core engineers have worked together for over a decade on connected video products — as a team in India for 12 years before SAMS was formally incorporated. Every discipline a camera needs sits under one roof.
Silicon-level camera expertise
Founding engineers previously worked on video chips at a global semiconductor leader — deep understanding of cameras down to the silicon.
Proven on the world stage
Products delivered for leading security and smart-home brands, working across North America, Europe and globally.
Delivery you can count on
Many generations of video doorbells and cameras shipped on schedule; one recent launch came in early with zero field returns.
Inventors, not integrators
70+ patents linked to our team's work, and industry firsts like colour night vision and battery-free doorbells.

Our hardware and validation lab, India.
"It should work" is not good enough
A product isn't finished when the demo works. Every design goes through image-quality tuning, climate and power validation, and automated regression before it reaches a customer.

Evidence over assumptions
"It should work" is not enough. We test until we know it will keep working in the real world.
Product thinking
We start with "what could we make possible?", not just "what does this technology do?"
Curiosity and persistence
Our engineers don't just think outside the box; they work out why the box isn't working.
Own it, end to end
Hands-on ownership of outcomes, with leadership that guides rather than micromanages.
Depth over shortcuts
Decisions driven by technical depth, performance and long-term design, not quick fixes.
Better together
Our best work happens side by side, with open debate and hands-on mentoring.
Surveillance technology shouldn't be a black box
Cameras generate sensitive data continuously, yet much of India's installed base runs on foreign silicon and closed firmware nobody here can audit. STQC and the push toward trusted, non-Chinese components are making auditable technology a requirement — where SAMS is built to operate.
Design once, prove it, then scale it
Understanding the need
We start from the business and operating environment, not a spec sheet.
Concept and design
Hardware, firmware and imaging designed together, not handed off in sequence.
Prototypes and testing
Built and validated in our own lab before a single unit reaches a factory.
Hand-over to manufacturing
Production-ready documentation and test plans for our partners, or yours.
Ongoing improvement
Field performance feeds back into the next software update and the next design.
Hands-on from day one, mentored by people who've shipped at scale
We work office-first in Bengaluru for faster decisions and hands-on mentoring. We're title sponsors and mentors of Kodikon 5.0, a national hackathon with 281 teams — because we'd rather help build the next generation of engineers than wait to hire them.
